The electrostatic flocking machine operates using the physical characteristics that like charges repel and opposite charges attract, also known as an electrostatic assembly line flocking machine. This is the method currently used in the market. The flocking fibers are given a negative charge, and the object to be flocked is placed at zero potential or grounded conditions. The flocking fibers are attracted by the object at a different potential, accelerating vertically to the surface of the object to be flocked. Since the object is coated with adhesive, the flocking fibers are vertically adhered to the object. The flocking production line can achieve fully automatic completion from gluing, flocking, drying, and floating fiber removal in one go.
